Laguna Beach Baby & Family Photographer ~ Candids of the Zaleski Family

I love photojournalism (documentary/ candid photography) and capturing natural moments and emotions, so this Laguna Beach family session was a dream come true!  I normally do a mixture of photojournalism & posed photography in my portrait sessions, but when Katrina contacted me about doing photos of her family and her daughter’s first birthday, she asked if I could do an entirely candid session.  Of course, I was all for it!!  I did not set up these shots in any way or offer suggestions (OK, maybe once!), I simply watched, talked to them a bit, & photographed them…  It forced me out of my comfort zone, which is definitely needed once in a while, and Im so happy with what we got ~ I couldn’t have loved doing this session any more!  Thanks for the creative push & great photo shoot guys!!  🙂
